Valery First Christmas

Valery had a great First Christmas! First off, she had her new liver just in time for Christmas! Second, our family was together! (which we werent sure would happen if you asked us 2 months ago)Thank you Lord!
We went to a great Christmas Eve service at my mother-in-law's church, and Val was dressed in her Miss Clause outfit, so cute! She was good through the service, and loved looking at the candlelight, and seemed to really like the singing!
At the end of the service LOTS of members came up and had to see Val post transplant! They have all heard SO much about her through Grandma Tina and were so happy to see the MIRACLE BABY, and to see the Christmas Miracle that has happened! so wonderful! Then we went to her GREAT grandmother's birthday party, and got to see a lot of my husbands family.
Christmas morning was so fun! Guess the kids were good this past year because Santa surely did come! the boys opened their gifts first and were so excited! Val slept through it! haha..and then once she woke up daddy sat with her on the floor and mommy and grandma Tina helped her open up her presents. She was so content, but so serious at the same time. She seemed enthralled, and had a WOW look on her face! It was so great to see! The rest of the day was spent playing with toys, and eating a Christmas dinner, boy was it yummy!
We had to leave to come back to Chicago, Christmas Day..but waited until after the boys went to bed before we headed back. Words cant explain how mommy and daddy feel leaving the boys again....we feel so blessed with the way things have gone for Valery though! It all just means thats the SOONER we get to be a family all together again!
There are a few Christmas pictures of Miss Valery!

Want to give a BIG, HUGE thank you to Valery's Grandma Tina, Grandpa Randy, Aunt Char, and Aunt Cindy! You guys are doing an AWESOME job with our boys, and we cant thank you enough for keeping them through this!
And a SPECIAL thank you to Grandma Tina, Valery's Hero..we are forever grateful!
To my (mommy's) Family in South Carolina, we miss you all and we will be home pretty soon!
Valery has a liver checkup tomorrow, and i will update then!

....what a way to end this year!!!!!!!!!! cant wait to see what this next, new year holds for valery and our family!....
