So happy to hear how well everything is going. Luke is on prograf and we have had some problems keeping the level where we want it as well. It is great to know that Valery does not need therapy anymore. I can't wait for that day. I am always thinking about and praying for all of you. Take care and have a safe trip.

I just wanted to let you know that Bryson had the mmr and was fine with it. He is totally caught up on all his shots and there was no problem. We have been on the prograf for a week now and labs were good but still waiting on the level to come back. Our troopers our such little fighters:):) I'm happy to hear about Val's teeth coming in. Bryson has all his but we can finally see more of them with his gums going down. YAYYY:):)
Hugs, Kim Bryan Bryson (and soon to come Tyler:):)

Happiness is... knowing that Valery is doing so well! Her website was my inspiration for Piper's when we first got started with cota. And here we are now, how long since Val's transplant?! It's seems like just yesterday that I was waiting along with you. Amazing how quickly how time flies! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers often, and give Val a great big hug for me!

I am so happy to hear she is doing so good. My daughter is the one that also had Biliary atresia. I know of the swollen gums as my daughters gums were huge. We are post transplant 2 yrs and 4 months and doing wonderful. This first yr is the hardest but after that its WONDERFUL. I am always checking on her. Please let me know if you ever want to talk its nice talking to people who went through the same as I have.

Grandpa Randy

I'm very happy to hear that things are becoming more stable for all of you. I'm also glad to hear that Valery's gums are receeding and her teeth are coming through, I can't wait til she takes a big bite on Daddy's nose with those chompers...... Lol...... You guys take care and stay strong =) Have a peaceful 4th of July weekend.

I am glad that you all are at home now. I thought about visiting you all at the hospital on Thursday and even bringing some Krispy Kreme doughnuts but didn't know if there were any restrictions. But if you still are up for the doughnuts now that you are home give me an e-mail. I would love to visit!

I'm sorry to hear about the rejection. I'm glad it seems like it was easily treated. I know it had to be crazy with her being more aware and mobil at the hospital. That is one of my fears along with rejection. Did you see Dr. A at all while you were there? If so how did that go? Well, we just got back from Chi town. They also switched Bryson to Prograf due to his gums. Lets pray for eachother that allgoes well with the switch. Take care:)

Hugs, Kim Bryan and Bryson

I haven't been to LF in a few days!! I can't believe I missed out on this chance to pray for you guys. I am sorry she is rejecting, happy she is coming through it okay, and worried just the same as you for the switch to Prograf...Argh! Hating the fear!

Lots of love, kissed and hugs to you, Chris and Valerie.

I am so sorry to hear that you are all back in the hospital. It is very rough to be there. Trust me, I feel your pain. Valery will continue to be in my prayers and I know everything will be fine.

Elaine Derrick

I got really encouraged to see that Val's bm's have returned to normal. We never thought we would get excited over poopy diapers did we until we had sick kids.

It's good you and Chris know what to look for. It's always good to be on the cautious side of things but not to think the worst and to wait on the results from our doctors. You and Chris are such good parents to all of your kids and I applaud you for spending lots of time with them. I have seen so many parents put their careers and other things ahead of their families.

I know Val is going to be just fine.
